For example:
In a year I coached leaders at a company with a complex manual assembly Lean specialist in a production setup / efficiency. One would start production of a new product in a new production. The goal of the overall cycle time was significantly less than previous products (indirect target for a limit on the total production cost) and there was a time critical delivery schedule from the customer. Improvement work (Lean) had stopped and there was some concern among the production staff how it would work. I helped with the new layout, material flow, workshops with staff etc. Also the lead time (customer order - delivery) should be halved so I help with the logistics process improvements.
Often when I analyze the activities of customers each department / function independently operate effectively but communication and understanding of each other shortcomings. The result for the whole company / business becomes less good. The deficiencies will be great potential for improvement that can be addressed with Lean. I have developed / customized training courses for several customers and trained employees and managers for the entire operation more efficient.
